Spiral Mindfulness – Consultation
Journey from equilibrium and a harmonious, joyful life to self-actualization
Everyday life’s challenges often feel like we’re caught in an endless cycle – relationship problems, stress, waves of negative emotions, feelings of loneliness, lack of self-confidence, not being understood, absence of joy, stability and inner peace, a sense of being stuck – and these repeat again and again.
Spiral Mindfulness mentoring and consultation gives you the opportunity to view different aspects of your life with deeper awareness and from a higher level. This is not just a method for dealing with daily life problems, but a comprehensive path that leads from the deepest levels – creating emotional balance and inner harmony – all the way to full self-realization.
The spiral symbolises inner growth, the ever-repeating experiences deepening our understanding, and the ascent to higher levels of consciousness, layer by layer, in increasingly inclusive, comprehensive ways. In the consultation and mentoring process I help you step-by-step with practical solutions to everyday challenges, and as you progress, you can do deeper inner work, moving towards full liberation and enlightenment.
For whom is Spiral Mindfulness?
For those who are ready not just to manage, but consciously resolve the challenges of their daily lives. And for those who long to embark on a deeper journey of self-knowledge, which ultimately leads to full self-realization.
If you feel there is a part of your life that could be improved, made better, realized on a higher level;
if you wish to understand yourself, others and the world more precisely;
to gain control over your mind (thoughts, emotions, habits etc.), then it’s worth beginning (or continuing in a different structure) this self-development/self-realisation process.
What can you develop?
Almost everything is possible if you are willing to act, and virtually nothing is possible if you depend on external solutions or are unwilling to put in effort.
- On the everyday level: You find practical, functioning solutions for your daily problems—be it stress management, emotional difficulties, work or relationship issues, or restoring your inner balance.
- On the self-actualization level: I support you to begin or move forward on the path of inner enlightenment, understanding and transcending the deeper layers hidden in your thinking and beliefs.
Some examples of possible goals:
- Lifestyle improvement: resolving difficulties at work; stress management; creating a joyful, loving relationship; maintaining harmonious family and friend connections; eliminating panic disorders; transforming suffering; ending recurring patterns; eradicating purposelessness, hopelessness, depression; if you feel you’re drifting in life with no sense of direction; processing loss, grief; creating a healthy sexuality.
- Self-improvement, personality development: building stable self-confidence; achieving real self-love, self-esteem, self-acceptance; changing harmful habits; removing blocks and stagnations; improving your energy system; mastering effective, uplifting communication; developing stable emotional awareness and EQ; eliminating certain health problems’ mental roots; transforming generational and childhood patterns; transforming self-sabotage, self-punishment, guilt, shame; eliminating dependencies.
- Spiritual development: finding the right path; creating true inner stability and inner peace; developing consciousness (horizontally and vertically); determining your current and next development level; creating individual practices necessary for spiritual growth; integrating the relative and absolute world; achieving inner freedom; elevating self-identity to the height of your potential; understanding and actualising higher-level teachings; developing perception of energies so as to avoid false paths and see clearly what is and what is not, in others, in ourselves, in the world; raising the level of your consciousness to the limit of your potential.
Many mistakenly believe they fully know themselves and that a friendly conversation will suffice when life stalls. I often observe that many people have already taken self-knowledge courses, read countless books, even visited psychologists – yet they still do not feel happy or enlightened. What could be the reason?
Self-knowledge on one’s own path. There are numerous layers to knowing ourselves (personality, habits, tendencies, unconscious contents, inherited patterns, our higher self which resides in unity, cosmic consciousness, etc.). Some of these layers are recognised over years, some parts are genuine, while others become entangled in a web of self-deception leading to false self-knowledge.
With external, non-judgemental help and tried methods we can clarify this so that we have a stable and genuine self-knowledge upon which we can build.
Many courses, self-help services and books are available to support self-development, whether horizontally or vertically. Yet many also contain misleading information and can cause confusion. On what can we rely when deciding if we are in the right place? There are a few conditions which must be fulfilled for a book, teaching, course, or helping professional to truly serve our development:
- It must provide practical tasks with which our goal is achievable.
- Its energy should be spacious, expansive, helping us move from confinement to expansion.
- It should be free from egoism, superiority, arrogance.
- It should not create dependence on the teacher.
- It should teach, show us the principles upon which we can build (not be based on belief).
- It must show the path to a higher level, if one seeks it (not just provide water but show the source).
- It should transcend the mind and be crystallised, not just a teaching or course held for a set period. (“Someone stuck in a swamp cannot be pulled out by someone who is also sitting in the swamp.”)
- It should not use templates for solutions, because each person is unique—even if similar problems arise, the understanding and realisation require individual methods.
- It should not drag out time for its own interests—if something can be achieved in 2–3 sessions it shouldn’t require 2 years.
- It should not flatter our ego—if a teacher, course-organiser, helper wants many to attend, often uses ego-boosting techniques—which, although pleasant, halt the practitioner’s development.
Not a friendly conversation: There are many differences between a friendly conversation and a consultation.
- In the consultation the energy focuses solely on you, the goal is to increase your understanding, reach your insights and experiences.
- It follows a directed theme, avoiding the diffuse, scattered conversation.
- It is help based on experience, not sharing opinions or experiments.
- Hundreds of practical methods are available.
What is the basis of Spiral Self-Development? (About myself)
I have been studying the workings of the human mind, soul and the world for 35 years. I studied for years with a Taoist master (Havasi András) inner (neidan) and external Qigong, Taoist internal alchemy, Tai Chi Quant, meditation, energetic and conscious practices.
Then I lived for nearly 2 years in a Buddhist centre in America, studying with two Buddhist masters (Master Heng Chang and Master Der) Buddhist psychology, spiral dynamics, group building, teaching techniques, meditation and various Buddhist self-development practices and sutras.
Then for another 2 years I studied under a master of the Shurat Shabd Yoga linage (Master Sirio) specialising in meditation and energetic practices.
Finally life led me to India where for more than 13 years I have studied Vedic psychology and yoga philosophy, the teachings of Vedanta.
Meanwhile I obtained a college-degree in health education (Hungary) and an applied-psychology M.Sc. (India), and I studied kinesiology, Reiki and other methods.
I integrate all this in the consultations, because everyone has a different point of connection and reception, a different door opens—and we must find that so you can proceed on your Path joyfully, enthusiastically and effectively.
With more than 10,000 individual and couples consultations behind me, and 15 years of leading self-development courses on various topics attended by hundreds of participants. I currently run the “Be the master of your mind” small-group course with 7 active groups since 2020. I have held more than 40 self-development camps/retreats. I have taught ITC at the Buddhist College and meditation at the Yoga Department of India’s Annamalai University.
Consultation procedure:
The consultation takes place in a structured manner, we establish the current situation and problems, determine the goal(s) to be achieved and set up the path and methods which fit into your everyday life, which you can do in order to achieve change. We follow the processes so that improvement is clear and we refine them according to the challenges. Between two consultations there is also opportunity for contact so that no questions or doubts remain.
The consultation can be in-person (when I’m in Hungary) or online (via Google Meet video call). If you have multiple sessions, you can alternate in-person and online meetings according to your needs.
Preconditions for the online version:
– Be in a place where no one disturbs you, no one can overhear what you say.
– Beforehand check your phone or laptop is charged—don’t have to search for the charger in the middle.
– Prepare 10 minutes in advance: think through what you want, review your previous session’s materials, tune in.
– Honour yourself by taking it seriously even if it happens in your usual environment.
Methods:
During the consultation we use guided conversation, analysis, in-situ energetic exercises, meditation, visualization, self-reflection, experiential situational exercises providing immediate insight and recognition, and other practices depending on the individual state.
Duration:
90 / 60 minutes/session. This is needed so we can go into suitable depth on the given topic, discuss the results of old practices and the mode of carrying out new tasks, as well as the relevant theory.
Frequency:
Varies individually. In urgent cases, only if someone has much time for the practices, it is possible to meet every 2 weeks. Otherwise, every 3–4 weeks.
Own practice:
Between two sessions you must perform the practices yourself so that a genuine, deep and lasting change can be achieved. A conversation, experience or even a new state alone does not enable stable development—only regularly repeated (re-)learning leads to profound change.
If you cannot commit to individual, regular practice, then you might reconsider whether you truly want to change the given situation, whether you want to move on in development. In a longer process there may be a life-situation when between two sessions you have no possibility to practice—these do not fall into this category.
Spiral Mindfulness can support you at every level of your development path – from harmonious, joyful everyday life to achieving inner freedom.
Besides personal consultation, individual family and chakra constellation, tarot analysis, couple- and family-consultation are also available; and for those who want to practise together, in groups and learn in a structured way, there is the “Be the Master of Your Mind” course.
